Mark and Shirley welcome you to our kennels.
We are here to help with any requirements that you may have regarding your pets for
boarding, breeding, grooming and training. Both of us have been in the dog
world for a number of years and hope to give you a good service and
knowledge of your dog and cat requirements. |
Mark opened Waterhall Boarding kennels in
August 1988, after he had completed some ten years working experience with
Gun Dogs and taking training classes. He has trained novice and open winners
in Field Trials and represented his country in 1986 at the Landrover
International British Gun Dog Team at the C.L.A. Game Fair.
The Kennels have been developed over a number of years, starting with three
kennels and a kitchen and building up to today with whelping rooms, more
kennels and a new cattery.
In 1993 Shirley decided to go on a Grooming Course at Bishop Stortford and
received a good grounding of most major breeds. Over the years Shirley has
worked very closely with Swayne and Partners Veterinary Practice at
Haverhill and has gained more experience in minor ailments skin conditions
and temperaments. Alternative medicine treatments are available and may be
an option to you.
Over the years Waterhall have been breeding Labrador Retrievers and English
Springer Spaniels, Jack Russels and Field Cocker Spaniels. These breeds make
excellent pets and companions.
In the future they are hoping to expand into breeding Siamese and Burmese
cats.
In 2001 a brand new custom built boarding kennel was opened which had many
exclusive features for boarders. The Individual accommodation has a main
corridor leading to the bed area and to the run area. A brand new kitchen
provides individual menus and special dietary needs.
Water Hall Lodge Cattery in 2003 opened a brand new larger cattery thereby,
increasing the number of cats that can be accommodated. The building is
built to latest specification and boasts individual rooms for cats. Ramps,
playzone, private bed area, full insulation and heating are just a few of
the features, which your cat can enjoy, ensuring a relaxed stay.
